About The Position

Retail Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the fulfillment of customer orders and preparing for shipment. Meet daily production goals with accuracy and timely, while adhering to safety procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collect order documents (packing lists) to fulfill customer orders and pick out ordered items from storage bin locations. Prepare orders for shipment and package according to shipping procedures. Fill out the appropriate paperwork to ship the product. Follow FIFO (First In First Out) /FEFO (First Expire First Out) in accordance with SOP. Securely shrink-wrap items onto pallet and placard with ship to address, PO#, and other specified customer information. Use material moving equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies to bring products and materials to an appropriate location. Operate handling equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack) according to industrial safety regulations. load and unload materials, move products to and from dock area. Update stock inventory after each item is retrieved. Manage stock control, including item replenishment and storage. Receive incoming materials and verify appropriate paperwork to ensure the accuracy of the delivery. Count or weigh items to check quantity accuracy. Perform transactions in the inventory system (Syspro) with RF scanner/computer. Issue materials to departments in the organization upon request. This involves transacting inventory quantities to the department and delivering the items to the work area. Monitor the bin locations, inventory, and report discrepancies in quantities to supervisor. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

1+ years’ experience operating forklift or similar lift equipment preferred.
Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
