About The Position

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part-Time Freight Handlers at our Birmingham, AL Service Center to unload and load trailers. Successful candidates for this position must possess a good work ethic, maintain a good attendance record, work well with others as part of a team, and excel in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced LTL environment preferred
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers at the Birmingham, AL Service Center.

Benefits

• Starting at $24.00 hr
• Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment
• Part-Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts
