About The Position
The Forklift Operator position at Relogistics Services, LLC involves the critical task of moving pallets and other materials throughout the warehouse to support production requirements. This role is essential for ensuring that materials are efficiently loaded and unloaded from customer trailers, contributing to the overall productivity of the warehouse operations. Forklift Operators are responsible for power-sorting pallets by hand and may also engage in repairing damaged wooden pallets, depending on the specific location. All employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check and drug test, in compliance with local and state laws and regulations. In this role, the Forklift Operator will be expected to make informed decisions regarding the movement of pallets and materials to maximize operational efficiency. Operators will utilize forklifts to transport loads to designated areas, ensuring that safety procedures are strictly adhered to at all times. The position requires a commitment to achieving Relogistics results while upholding the company's core values and safety standards. Additionally, operators may be required to hand-sort wooden pallets and repair them using a nail gun when necessary. The work environment can be challenging, as operators may need to work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, and exposure to air particulates. The role demands physical stamina, as operators will be required to adjust their body positions frequently, including bending, stooping, walking, and standing for extended periods. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory, and operators must possess good balance and coordination to safely operate forklifts and handle materials.
