Position Details: Datrose is seeking a Forklift Operator / Material Handler for a one-year contract position with a possibility of being temp to hire. Location: East Rochester, NY (near Penfield) Work Hours: 8 Hour Day Shift - Monday-Friday (occasional overtime may be required). Who We're Looking For: Candidates with Forklift experience to work in an industrial/warehouse environment. Warehouse skills should include picking stock, using handheld scanners, loading and unloading materials. A team player, with good communication skills and a mind for safety. What to Expect as a Forklift Operator: Perform various manual activities under minimal/direct supervision Picking stock Light manufacturing Building pallets for shipment Loading and unloading materials Ordering, storing and delivering supplies Using hand scanners Heavy lifting up to 70 lbs. Work in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED/HSE OR 1 yr of warehouse experience required
- Fork Truck License preferred
- Need steel toe safety shoes
- Basic mathematic skills
- Prior Warehouse/Dock experience
- Detail oriented with time management skills
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically Word and basic Excel and Outlook
Nice To Haves
- SAP knowledge is preferred
