What You’ll Do as a Forklift Operator / Lumberyard Team Member Operate a sit-down forklift to safely and efficiently pull lumber and building materials Occasionally deliver small loads to new construction sites across Middle Tennessee Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure readiness Represent Huskey with professionalism and care—whether on the yard or behind the wheel What We Offer Hands-on, in-depth training to become a certified Load Warrior within 3–6 months A supportive team culture where hard work and teamwork are recognized A clear path to advancement—we invest in your growth and leadership potential A workplace where you’ll go home proud of what you’ve accomplished What We’re Looking For in a Forklift Operator / Lumberyard Team Member A strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions A team-first attitude and a desire to help others succeed Familiarity with lumber products (2x4s, plywood, LVLs, treated wood, etc.) is a plus Must obtain a Tennessee F-Endorsement within 30 days of hire (preference given to candidates who already have this driver’s license endorsement) Must pass a drug screen as part of our commitment to a safe, drug-free workplace Ready to Join a Winning Team?
