WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Safely and efficiently, operate forklift; perform required daily inspections Pick full and partial pallets, wrap pallets when necessary, stage product for loading, check pallets for accuracy to order Maintain clean and organized aisles or rack storage, consolidate partial pallets when needed Inventory product as needed; label, sort, wrap and tie product Hand load product onto containers Comply with company safety policies and maintain clean and orderly work area. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures Accurately complete required paperwork in accordance with company standards Additional duties as assigned by Packaging Supervisor, Lead, or Plant Manager

Requirements

  • Recent Forklift experience
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Effectively communicate questions, problems and reports to co-workers, supervisory and management personnel.
  • Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed
  • Must display a positive attitude and work well with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities
