About The Position

The Forklift Operator II is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of material handling equipment, including sit-down/standup, clamp, cherry, and reach forklifts. This role involves moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise within a warehouse environment. The operator must ensure accurate inventory control and may also perform order filler or checker duties as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs. without restriction.
• Basic safety understanding in operating equipment.
• Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Excel knowledge and general computer knowledge.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using various types of forklift equipment.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves products to storage locations.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in loading and shipping.
• Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
• Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security.
• Assists in physical inventories and ensures proper stock rotation.
• Conducts cycle counts as requested and reports inventory discrepancies to the inventory control team.
• Completes inspection forms prior to operating equipment and uses RF scanning equipment for inventory accuracy.
