We are looking for a Forklift Driver to support warehouse operations by efficiently handling materials, ensuring timely movement of goods, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role is essential in keeping the warehouse running smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Forklift certification required (must pass certification test).
  • Experience using SAP preferred.
  • Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping software and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
  • RF Scanner experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one interactions with other employees.
  • Must stand and move throughout the warehouse for 8-10 hours per day.
  • Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly use hands to handle, reach, and operate warehouse equipment.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Must have close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to transport, load, and unload materials safely.
  • Review and process orders in SAP, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Safely move products within the warehouse, including stacking and organizing materials.
  • Perform shipping tasks, including handling small parcels (UPS, FedEx) and skids (LTL shipments).
  • Inspect and maintain forklifts, reporting any issues for timely repairs.
  • Follow safety protocols and warehouse procedures to prevent accidents and maintain compliance.
  • Assist in developing and improving shipping processes for greater efficiency.
  • Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
