This position is responsible for performing a range of duties to ensure the warehouse's administrative operations run smoothly and effectively on a daily basis. Rate: $19.00 - $20.00/hour Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm Must be Forklift Certified

Requirements

  • MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • UPS/FedEx Shipping software
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • RF Scanner
  • SAP experience highly preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced warehouse/office environment
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one interactions with other employees.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand on your feet for up to 8-10 hours a day in a fast-paced environment.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • May be exposed to various chemicals, such as weld gas, spatter spray, and cleaners.
  • The noise level in the environment is loud, and hearing protection is required.
  • Must be Forklift Certified

  • SAP experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Reviews new orders in SAP for correctness and schedules daily production.
  • Creates, organizes, files and distributes instructions as needed.
  • Performs Shipping process to include small parcels (UPS, FedEx), skids (LTL).
  • Assists In developing and executing methods/procedures to improve Shipping process.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned.
