Forklift Operator/Finishing Assistant- 2nd shift

WHAT YOU GET : 80 Paid Vacation hours 10 Paid Holidays per year Shoe Reimbursement at 6-months Other Benefits : On the bus route (Rabbit Transit - 6N) Spot Awards Affordable Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage 401(k) plan with company match Bonus programs Company-paid life and AD&D insurance, and short-term disability coverage Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Operate stand-up forklift (Must have stand up forklift experience to apply) Unload/Load trucks Cutting of cores for slitting based on upcoming Slitter production needs, this could include preparing cores for all shifts Staging of jobs at slitter and interpretation of production schedule Supply departments with required materials Build and wrap pallets according to customer specifications Usage of a scan gun (RF Scanner) Ability to calculate using simple math Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: Basic computer knowledge & skills – Word, Excel, Outlook email, ERP software Ability to work accurately in a fast paced, changing environment Good communications skills. Must be able to work well under sometimes stressful work conditions. Prior stand-up forklift experience . Knowledge of warehousing and bar-coding systems is a plus Physical Demands: Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of times. (consistently) Must be able to move and lift up to 45 lbs. (intermittently)
