The Forklift Operator at Pitco Foods is responsible for efficiently and safely moving and organizing materials within a warehouse or distribution center. This role involves providing customer service, stocking shelves, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the work environment.

  • Use a forklift to move and organize materials within the warehouse.
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.
  • Assist members in loading items into their carts and vehicles.
  • Communicate with supervisors and managers regarding merchandising plans and priorities.
  • Stock shelves and align merchandise appropriately.
  • Collect and return stray items to their designated locations.
  • Cut boxes for display and accessibility of merchandise.
  • Mark merchandise as needed and check for correct signage.
  • Move and position pallets of merchandise, stacking from partial to full pallets.
  • Clear the sales floor of debris and sweep the area.
  • Remove empty pallets from aisles and rewrap loose merchandise.
  • Follow all safety and security procedures, including spotting for forklift drivers.
  • Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
  • Must pass Drug Test and Background Check.
  • 2 years of relevant experience as a stocker or in a comparable role.
  • Valid Forklift Certification and Electric Pallet Jack certification.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
