The Forklift Operator position at Tyson involves working on C Shift, which is scheduled for Sunday, Friday, and Saturday from 6am to 6pm. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of forklift experience with the same employer. Preferred candidates will have three months of stand-up forklift experience or high lift experience, as well as three months of RF scanner experience.

  • Move around the work area at a fast pace during the 12-hour shift.
  • Bend, squat, lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Use a handheld scanner and vehicle mount screen to track product efficiently as it is received, moved around the warehouse, and loaded.
  • Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.
  • Perform various tasks including receiving product accurately into the building using PIT, putting away received product into racking, replenishing pick faces, picking product in single or full palletized form, and loading trucks with product efficiently.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1 Year forklift experience with the same employer.
  • Preferred: 3 months stand up forklift experience or high lift experience.
  • Preferred: 3 months RF scanner experience.
