About The Position

The Forklift Operator position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.27 and is a full-time role requiring Monday through Friday availability, with overtime and some weekend work as necessary. This position provides growth potential and involves all activities associated with safely operating and caring for the forklift.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months experience operating a sit-down forklift in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a state-of-the-art, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of equipment design and capabilities.
• Understanding of product layouts and production specifications.
• Knowledge of product quality specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work at a fast pace delivering stock and removing finished goods from machines.
• Complete and document a forklift inspection form at the start of each shift, notifying the supervisor if repairs are needed.
• Maintain neat, orderly, and safe stacks of stock in storage areas.
• Complete all necessary reporting in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate location of stock in storage by utilizing a computer-based inventory system.
• Adhere to the daily production schedule and make recommendations for optimizing it to meet cost, quality, delivery, and service goals.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety, and maintain good housekeeping.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
