About The Position

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the use of power equipment to load and unload products, ensuring safe movement, location, relocation, stacking, and counting of products. This position operates on the 3rd shift from 6pm to 6am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The role emphasizes a commitment to safety, reliability, and quality of work, aligning with the company's values and business practices.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience and knowledge about Food Safety or willingness to receive training in Food Safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.
• Meet established productivity standards specific to the account.
• Understand the stocking strategy of the operations building assigned.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
• Complete lift inspection prior to operation.
• Report all equipment malfunctions to manager and/or maintenance immediately.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage free.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report all inventory discrepancies to supervisor/manager.
• Follow food/safety SOPs and AIB standards.

Benefits

• Wage of $20.00 + $1.50 shift differential when applicable.
