We're Hiring - Forklift Operator 3 The Forklift Operator 3 will be a key member of our Manufacturing team in Bridgeport, NJ, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of production build materials across our facility. In this position, you will support the movement of critical materials from inventory to the production floor, helping maintain an uninterrupted production process. This is a fast-paced role requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and strong safety awareness. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment; valid certification highly preferred.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory/material tracking systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Transport a variety of production build materials (e.g., raw iron, engines, canopies, mufflers) from inventory to the production floor using a properly rated forklift or other material handling equipment.
  • Safely offload materials from delivery vehicles such as tractor trailers and box trucks and place them in the correct inventory staging areas.
  • Assist in moving work-in-progress units between production cells as needed, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Maintain an organized, hazard-free inventory area.
  • Understand and maintain knowledge of all parts and materials needed for the production process.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained through daily/weekly checklists and routine preventative maintenance; report any safety concerns to the Production Manager.
  • Follow site safety protocols, attend daily safety/toolbox meetings, and report any safety hazards.
  • Work closely with team members to support On-Time-Delivery of materials and finished goods between component inventory, staging, production, and delivery areas.
  • Assist with inventory counts and other duties as assigned.
