About The Position

The Forklift Operator position at Riceland Foods involves loading and unloading materials in a warehouse setting, ensuring food safety and plant safety protocols are followed. Requirements

• Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Load all bag trucks and boxcars with rice flour.
• Unload all incoming materials.
• Ensure food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures.
• Oversee plant safety by monitoring persons entering the work area and reporting unauthorized individuals to the supervisor.
• Complete all related paperwork daily for loading and unloading activities.
• Restack pallets of products weighing 50# and 100# as needed.
• Sanitize the warehouse area and complete cleaning schedules.
• Drive forklifts (both slip sheet and regular) daily.
