About The Position

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the use of power equipment to load and unload products, safely moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting products. This position operates on the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to Midnight, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. The role emphasizes a commitment to safety, reliability, and a positive attitude while adhering to company values and practices.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of multiple accounts and/or job functions within the operation.

Responsibilities

• Use power equipment to load and unload products.
• Safely move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products.
• Meet established productivity standards specific to the account.
• Understand the stocking strategy of the operations building.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
• Complete lift inspections prior to operation.
• Report all equipment malfunctions to management.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage-free.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
