Forklift Operator 2 -- 2nd shift
About The Position
Acme Finishing Company in Elk Grove Village, IL is actively seeking a dependable full-time second shift Forklift Operator 2 to safely maneuver oversized industrial material during processing. This warehouse position starts at a competitive wage of $23/hour. As a Forklift Operator 2, the bulk of your day consists of using a forklift to move oversized materials (specifically 10-foot tubing) around the parking lot, bring materials to the production area, and load and unload flatbed trucks. Your physical stamina shines as you occasionally lift heavy items and work mostly outdoors. You have great attention to detail to ensure safety at all times. This industrial warehouse position will train for 3-4 weeks on a daytime shift (some flexibility with hours). Once fully trained, the forklift operator will move to a second shift (final hours to be determined, but approximately 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Monday - Friday).
