Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and retain Forklift Operator License through Lakeside Book Company.
- Must be willing to work daily/weekly overtime as needed.
- Must pass pre-employment Drug Screen and Background (external candidates).
- Most recent performance rating must be "meeting expectations" or above.
- Meet the minimum qualifications as stated in the job posting.
- Must be in good standing(i.e. must not be on Corrective Counseling or Performance Improvement Plan).
Nice To Haves
- Prior Forklift or Roll Clamp experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive forklift truck equipped with lifting devices such as fork, clamp, or trailer hitch to push, lift, stack, tier or remove material.
- Load or unload product from trucks and railcars using Forklift or Roll Clamp.
- Follow all lift truck safety guidelines and perform safety checks on lift trucks.
- Use a computer to utilize the internal company COMN and Load Tracking Systems.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks in work area.
- May process small packages
