About The Position

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the use of power equipment to load and unload products, safely moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting products. This position operates under the guidance of the Distribution Manager and is expected to adhere to company values and practices, ensuring a positive and respectful work environment while maintaining high business ethics and safety standards.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Use power equipment to load and unload products.
• Safely move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products.
• Meet established productivity standards specific to the account.
• Understand the stocking strategy of the operations building assigned.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
• Complete lift inspections prior to operation.
• Report all equipment malfunctions to manager and/or maintenance immediately.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage free.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies to supervisor/manager.
