About The Position

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the use of power equipment to load and unload products, ensuring safe movement, location, relocation, stacking, and counting of products. The position operates on a full-time basis during the first shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. The role emphasizes a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in operations.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of safety and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate power equipment to load and unload products.
• Move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products.
• Meet established productivity standards specific to the account.
• Understand the stocking strategy of the operations building.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
• Complete lift inspections prior to operation.
• Report equipment malfunctions to management.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage-free.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.

Benefits

• $19.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential when applicable.
