In this role, you will play a crucial part in the logistics and material handling processes of our operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating sit-down or counter balanced trucks (preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse shipping and receiving.
• Ability to be trained as an authorized operator; (OSHA standard 29CFR1910.178(1)).
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong dependability and reliability.
• Ability to read and understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures, and World Class Manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks safely and accurately to receive, store, stack, stage, handle, deliver, and ship materials and finished products.
• Conduct pre-operation safety inspections of the lift truck and complete the checklist prior to use.
• Participate in cycle counting to ensure accurate location and availability of materials.
• Understand and execute 5S principles to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support long haul truck operations and administrative tasks as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations and efficiency.
• Engage in sound warehouse practices to protect materials from damage and contamination.
