About The Position

The Forklift-Merchandising Associate is responsible for operating a forklift to manage inventory flow, stock merchandise, and provide excellent member service at Sam's Club. This role involves ensuring safety standards are met, maintaining the sales floor, and assisting with club pick-up orders while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory flow and follow company policies for utilizing equipment appropriately.
• Provide member service by acknowledging needs and assisting with purchasing decisions.
• Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps and following hazardous material procedures.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation according to company policies.
• Ensure club pick-up orders are filled and staged properly.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers and co-workers.
