About The Position

Under direction, the Forklift-Material Handler performs a variety of receiving and inventory activities. This role involves storing and distributing supplies and equipment to other departments within the organization.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, bending, standing or carrying materials on a consistent basis
• Must be able to read and implement basic work instructions
• Must understand basic inventory and warehouse practices
• Must be able to safely and competently operate a forklift
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Follow drug free workplace policy
• Experience with moving boat trailers or equipment comparable
• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
• Position availability must include Monday – Friday first shift
• Highschool diploma/GED

Nice To Haves

• 2 years’ experience working in industrial, manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Receives and inspects all incoming raw materials and supplies and then distributes to the appropriate department or stocks into the warehouse inventory
• Maintains complete inventory cards and records for all inventory items and builds steel kits as needed to supply production
• Maintain constant flow of materials to the production floor for assembly
