About The Position

The Forklift Material Handler position is responsible for maintaining the organization of the reclaim area and ensuring that materials are handled safely and efficiently. The role involves working both individually and as part of a team to complete various tasks related to material handling and forklift operation.

Requirements

• Forklift license required

Responsibilities

• Help keep reclaim area organized
• Band up sizing saw off fall sticks and take to reclaim, or dispose of them if too small to use
• Complete fork truck inspection daily
• Notify supervisor and day shift teams if low on special core like backer, EQ, or plywood
• Work individually or with team members as assigned
• Maintain a clean, organized and positive work environment
• Follow & adhere to Standard Work Requirements & Safety Policies including use of PPE
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
