About The Position

This position is responsible for any entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for any forklift start type opening (including Forklift operator/Picker/Loader/Put Away duties) on any shift (Shift will be determined at time of offer for interview or after interview based on hiring needs), such as day, evening or night shift as well as overtime and weekends if required. Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include, but are not limited to, shipping and receiving. Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40+ lbs. Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs. Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment (forklifts, stand up lifts). Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.
