About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in a freezer environment. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and staging product while maintaining accurate inventory and following company safety procedures.
Requirements
- Forklift experience preferred; must obtain company certification (including high-lift certification)
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills
- Strong teamwork and time management skills
- Ability to climb stairs/ladders
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills are encouraged but not required. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify inbound product
- Store and organize product in freezer warehouse using proper rotation (FIFO)
- Pick and stage orders as required
- Operate forklifts and loading equipment safely
- Assist with loading/unloading trailers
- Follow all safety policies and perform other duties as assigned
