About The Position

Forklift Driver - 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm)
Brookshire, TX
Compensation Includes:
Starting Pay Rate of $18.00/hour
Responsibilities
Moving and transferring materials and finished goods in a high-volume production environment
Perform all material transfers with high accuracy and accountability following established processes and procedures
Perform all duties with a strong focus on safety
Follow all Critical Safety Rules, Standards of Conduct, and company practices, including truck/railcar safety rules and the attendance policy
Effectively perform all duties outlined in the Operations Lift Truck Operator standard work
Assist with operations on all EPS lines as assigned; relieve operators for breaks
Perform Packers (Packing Associates) and Operator B (Operator Associates) duties as trained
Fill in as Operator for breaks or as assigned
Provide excellent communication and customer service to internal and external customers
Assist others with daily assignments and work effectively within a team
Ensure assignments are completed in a timely manner
Conduct daily forklift inspections
Support SAP functions related to inventory and load management (e.g., Pick List, PGI)
Perform additional tasks as required; responsibilities may vary as needed

Requirements

• Ability to perform simple calculations and apply sound mathematical reasoning
• Knowledge of applicable machinery; competency in forklift operations strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive work attitude and willingness to collaborate with others
