Forklift Driver (2nd Shift)
About The Position
Job Posting for Forklift Driver (2nd Shift) 2:15 pm - 10:45 pm Department: Materials Management DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must know all mixing forklift roles. Proper use of scanner gun for each material transaction to ensure accurate inventory Pull product from inventory and transfer to necessary area within the facility Properly store WIP in the warehouse and keep it organized Move mixed product in a timely manner to the finished goods area. Have knowledge as to the location of raw seasoning as to facilitate easy procurement. Check battery level/water levels and overall condition of forklift daily via forklift checklist. Fill out move sheet for product moves Must know how to drive various forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) Adhere to all Workplace Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) expectations. Empty trash dumpster when necessary. All other duties as assigned THIS DESCRIPTION IS A GENERAL STATEMENT OF REQUIRED MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES PERFORMED ON A REQUIRED AND CONTINUOUS BASIS. IT DOES NOT EXCLUDE OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Forklift experience is required.
- In-house forklift certification will be completed prior to using a forklift at Fuchs.
