Requirements
- Must have or obtain Forklift license for operating Hyster Forklift 300
- Must have a good overall work record, including a satisfactory attendance record and be self-motivated.
- Must possess good communication skills, have the ability to lift light to medium objects, and to push up to 100 pounds on rollers or carts.
- Demonstrates a commitment to safety at all times.
- Employees in this position are required to follow established safety rules and promote the overall safety and health program at Cabinetworks Group in the performance of their duties.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for unloading lumber trucks
- Responsible for loading and unloading kilns, pre-dryers and dry-storage buildings with lumber.
- Supplies sorter in-feed chains with lumber.
- Supplies planer lines with K.D. lumber.
- Unloads out-feed chains of sorter.
- Assumes responsibilities required for the use of the Hyster 300 within the department.
- Performs routine maintenance on forklift.
- Responsible for daily tracking of lumber inventory.
- Maintain the daily check-off sheets.
- Maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Able to interface with RS6000 computer systems
- Perform other related duties in department as assigned.
- Must be able to endure all weather conditions.
