Requirements

  • Must have or obtain Forklift license for operating Hyster Forklift 300
  • Must have a good overall work record, including a satisfactory attendance record and be self-motivated.
  • Must possess good communication skills, have the ability to lift light to medium objects, and to push up to 100 pounds on rollers or carts.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to safety at all times.
  • Employees in this position are required to follow established safety rules and promote the overall safety and health program at Cabinetworks Group in the performance of their duties.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for unloading lumber trucks
  • Responsible for loading and unloading kilns, pre-dryers and dry-storage buildings with lumber.
  • Supplies sorter in-feed chains with lumber.
  • Supplies planer lines with K.D. lumber.
  • Unloads out-feed chains of sorter.
  • Assumes responsibilities required for the use of the Hyster 300 within the department.
  • Performs routine maintenance on forklift.
  • Responsible for daily tracking of lumber inventory.
  • Maintain the daily check-off sheets.
  • Maintain a clean work environment at all times.
  • Able to interface with RS6000 computer systems
  • Perform other related duties in department as assigned.
  • Must be able to endure all weather conditions.
