About The Position

The Shipper is responsible for accurately preparing, verifying, and loading outgoing shipments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled safely and efficiently. This position plays a key role in maintaining the flow of finished product from production to delivery, while upholding the client’s commitment to quality, safety, and on-time performance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
1+ year of experience in shipping, warehouse, or distribution preferred.
3+ years Forklift certification (sit-down)
Basic computer and RF scanner skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Verify accuracy of outgoing shipments by comparing items, quantities, and lot numbers to shipping documentation.
Load finished products safely and securely onto trailers using forklifts or pallet jacks.
Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely movement of goods.
Prepare and print shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documents.
Operate forklift and other material-handling equipment safely and in accordance with company policy.
Inspect trailers prior to loading to ensure they are clean, safe, and suitable for product transport.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with company safety standards.
Communicate any shipment discrepancies or damages to supervisors immediately.
Assist with inventory counts and product staging as needed.
Follow all OSHA and the client safety procedures, including PPE and equipment checks.
