About The Position

Sage V Foods, headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, is a leading provider of innovative rice, grain, and plant-based products. We are dedicated to quality, sustainability, and the success of our employees. We’re seeking a Forklift Driver - Dry/Frozen Warehouse to support our Dry and Frozen Warehouse operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and safely.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to drive various types of forklifts (including stand-up).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience loading/unloading trailers.
  • Ability to generate Bills of Lading and shipping documents.
  • Basic math skills and computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
  • Professional communication skills with internal and external partners.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to climb ladders, stand on concrete floors for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work extended shifts as needed.
  • Exposure to hot, cold, and noisy environments in both warehouse and outdoor settings.
  • Required PPE must be worn at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Pick orders from inventory using provided pick tickets.
  • Load and unload goods from reefer trailers and dry vans.
  • Place Finished Goods and WIP pallets in the correct storage bays.
  • Communicate with Production and Supervisors to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure outbound loads are properly secured and inspected.
  • Complete outbound inspection forms and prepare Bills of Lading.
  • Perform daily equipment checks (battery charging, issue reporting).
  • Verify product quality before shipping and report variances.
  • Assist with month-end warehouse inventory.
  • Rotate stock using FIFO (first in, first out) method.
  • Ensure incoming deliveries match packing slips and report damages.
  • Shrink wrap pallets and prepare shipments.
  • Report equipment issues, damaged racks, or safety hazards.
  • Dump materials into machine hoppers as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and GMP-compliant work environment.
  • Attend monthly Safety and Quality meetings.
