About The Position

The Forklift Driver is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. Working outdoors, our forklift driver moves products in and out of the shop and safely loads delivery trucks. Our forklift operators operate larger scale forklifts. You quickly become the product expert – knowing what things are, how they’re loaded and where they go in inventory. Reporting to our Production Supervisor, you’ll collaborate with the yard, production, and office teams, and interact with truck drivers and vendors. Much like you, our founder, Don Jensen was looking for a way to support his family, so he started his Company in 1968. Since founded, we’ve been supporting communities across Nevada, California, Arizona, Washington, and Hawaii. Jensen Infrastructure likely has an impact on your daily life. We build culverts to take water away from your neighborhoods, underground utility boxes to hold cables, and manholes to allow workers access to the sewers deep below the roads we drive on. Requirements

• You’re enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment.
• You understand the controls and limitations of forklifts.
• Operating multiple size lifts, moving large/awkward/heavy products doesn’t scare you.
• You have excellent judgement with weight limitations.
• You don’t take shortcuts.
• You’re safety conscious not just for yourself, but for your team.

Responsibilities

• Choosing and utilizing the proper forklift, based on weight, to load, unload, transport, and stack material in appropriate areas.
• Operating forklift in production areas in a safe manner, always abiding by the speed limits and safety policies.
• Moving finished products and supplies from departments to yard or to trucks for loading.
• Completing daily forklift inspections and keeping work areas organized and clean.
