Our 24/7 Auburn, Maine manufacturing site is seeking Forklift Drivers to join the Logistics Department supporting critical business needs. At Auburn we manufacture most of P&G's tampon production for distribution within the overall Feminine Care business unit. Forklift Drivers are vital to the success of our business at P&G. The Logistics Department maintains production across the site by safely moving critical materials within the facility, replenishing automation systems, and ensuring materials and product meet P&G’s quality expectations. You will enable on-time shipments that our customers and consumers expect from P&G. To be successful in this role, individuals must seek out opportunities to learn multiple functions within their department and support their team by flowing to various tasks throughout the shift. We hire you at entry level and you advance by demonstrating growing levels of operating, maintenance, and leadership skills. Successful employees will break down technical barriers to success, obtain technical proficiency, and ultimately enable material and production efficiency. We also provide you with the opportunity to expand into electrical, quality assurance, safety and hygiene, and other areas of functional expertise. Although you will begin your career and progress within Logistics department, future business needs will determine whether you remain in Logistics or have the opportunity to transfer to another operating department within the site, where you will gain additional training and skills. Meaningful work on Day 1 We do various types of work, including operating forklifts and reach trucks, controlling the process from a computer terminal, receiving raw and packing materials to support production, loading outbound finished product shipments for customers, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment.
