WORK TYPE: On Site LOCATION DETAILS : 950 E. Avenue K, Grand Prairie, TX 75050 WORK HOURS: Monday – Friday 4:00am – 12:30pm (OT as needed and during peak season Jun-Dec). HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Our BSN Sports Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for selecting and preparing products for shipment in a warehouse setting.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and move around the warehouse.
Overall, a Warehouse carousel picker plays a critical role in ensuring that products are accurately picked and shipped to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
Ability to work seasonal mandatory OT as needed
Must be able to pass background check.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: HS Diploma or GED (required)
1 - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
Learn tasks quickly, is detailed, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance
Must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel

Ability to stand for long periods of time with repetitive body movements

Responsibilities

Receiving and reviewing pick sheets, work orders, and other shipping documents to determine items to be picked and packed.
Locating and retrieving items from their designated storage areas within the warehouse using handheld devices or picking carts.
Checking product quality and quantity, ensuring that they follow the order specifications.
Packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment to customers, including accurately completing required shipping documentation.
Keeping accurate inventory records of items picked and packed and reporting any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Operating various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, and following all safety procedures.
Communicating effectively with other warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
