About The Position

The position of Forklift Operator will operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials, move them to and from hold areas, machines and loading docks. This role requires high degree of attention to prevent injury to others and to promote a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards
• Must have a record of dependability and good attendance

Responsibilities

• Referencing the production schedule or shipping order transport material or equipment to and from designated areas
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates
• Stack goods in the correct areas, as needed by Team Leaders
• Ensure loads are secure
• Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
• When duties are completed, associate will be expected to work in the setting
• Must be able to pass drug and background screen. No felonies within 2 years
