About The Position

Individual's primary responsibilities include safely operating the standup forklift to load, unload & put away product. May also operate other equipment and breakdown and receive products from vendors. The individual's normal work hours are Monday through Friday. Occasionally it may be necessary for this individual to work outside of their normal scheduled hours; according to business needs. Overtime must be approved by your manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must be able to read and write English
• Ability to learn to use computer and radio frequency devices (RF gun).
• Must be forklift certified and be able to use an order picker (train).
• Must be reliable and on-time to work each day.
• Ability to work with others in a fast-paced team environment.
• Employee is required to stand up to 8 hours per day on the forklift. Saturday work is 6 hours in duration and is usually scheduled 2 per month.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered material handling equipment (standing Stock Picker forklift) safely.
• Meet department productivity KPI standards.
• Motivate others when change occurs to obtain positive results.
• Lift 40 lbs. on a continual basis.
• Receive and put-away incoming orders in a timely manner (48 hour window).
• Replenish stock from bulk bins to primary locations.
• Interface effectively with others in the company.
• Keep all work areas clean and free of debris.
• Perform other warehouse duties as needed.
