About The Position

As a Forklift Driver, you'll operate a forklift to receive, locate, and move products throughout the warehouse, fill customer orders with accuracy, and transport them to the truck line shipping area. You'll also perform quality control checks to ensure the complete order is accurate. We're looking for someone who is accountable, safety-conscious, productive, and motivated to exceed company standards. You will also get to: Accurate counts and documentation of inbound deliveries Documentation and performing of proper maintenance on all forklifts. Maintain cleanliness of work area. Adhere to safety standards, immediately correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions. Performs other duties as assigned. Immediate location of product into their respective areas after verifying part numbers and counts. Accurate documentation and input of information into computer system. Adhere to safety standards, immediately correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions Efficiently pick customer orders for the labs, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is picked and ready to go. Build pallet to proper specifications and safety guidelines Transport inventory to necessary location with forklift truck

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in and understand English to the extent necessary to fulfill/perform the essential job functions.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience and 1 year of experience with Crown stand-up and cherry picker.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs consistently.
  • Knowledge of receiving, warehouse, and safety procedures and some computer experience.
  • Ability to multitask with strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints within a timely fashion.
  • Accountability and safety-consciousness, motivated to exceed company standards.
