The Forklift Driver role is an integral part of the Gallatin team, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of products across various distribution functions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience operating forklift
  • Basic computer skills, specifically with performing inventory transactions
  • Forklift certified or ability to successfully complete B&D approved forklift certification program

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of functions for the Distribution team including safe and efficient movement of product for receiving, stocking, replenishments, order filling, and shipping
  • Safely drive a sit-down lift, use a two-way radio, and complete SB&D approved equipment certification program
  • Learn all functions of warehouse systems including put-away, stock transfers, shipping, replenishing, and loading
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in and around trailers and containers
  • Focus on safety, quality, and achievement of specific/exact objectives
