About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Sit-Down/Stand-Up Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within a warehouse or production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience handling materials, ensuring inventory accuracy, and following safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Proven experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts if needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience handling fragile or hazardous materials.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of products to prevent damage.
• Transport, stack, and store products in designated areas.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and report discrepancies.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including picking, packing, and organizing stock.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
