About The Position

The Forklift Driver position at Pactiv Evergreen involves operating forklifts and other equipment to manage materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role includes responsibilities such as loading and unloading materials, supporting inventory management, and maintaining safety standards. Requirements

  • Must be able to work 12 hour shift.
  • Proven experience working in a fast paced Warehouse/Logistics environment.
  • Stand-up Forklift Truck Experience.
  • Understanding of the DPM process.
  • Prior use of RF barcode reader and vehicle mounted (VMU) computer systems preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 years recent forklift experience preferred.
  • Forklift Certification preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics.
  • Basic ability to communicate, orally and written, in the English language.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Certification in Lockout/Tag Out and Forklift Operation required upon assignment.

Nice To Haves

  • Push-pull attachment operation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, load, and/or unload materials to designated area using appropriate equipment including forklift, clamp lift, barcode readers and safety equipment.
  • Receive and understand material movement orders.
  • Cycle counting support.
  • Physical inventory support (non-poly and finished goods).
  • Recycle support.
  • Repack boxes, stencil/re-label boxes, stretch wrap product, hand stack product.
  • Perform housekeeping duties; inventory consolidation; material reclaim.
