About the position
As Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating industrial forklift to locate units in warehouse and load and/or unload trucks for delivering the units to various locations. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols while handling materials in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial forklift to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks with units for delivery.
- Locate and retrieve units from storage areas as needed.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during operations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain efficient workflow.
Requirements
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and operate machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
