About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver / Order Picker to join our frozen food distribution team. This role is responsible for accurately picking orders and safely operating material handling equipment in a cold storage environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in sub-zero temperatures and maintaining high productivity and accuracy standards.

Requirements

• Previous forklift and/or warehouse experience preferred
• Experience in cold storage or food distribution is a plus
• Ability to operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in cold/freezer conditions
• Dependable with strong attendance record
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in cold storage or food distribution is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack) safely and efficiently
• Pick and stage customer orders accurately using RF scanners or pick sheets
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring product integrity
• Work in freezer conditions (typically -10°F to 0°F) for extended periods
• Perform inventory checks and assist with cycle counts as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA guidelines
• Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance issues
