About the position

Club Car boasts a 60+ year history of industry-leading innovation and design. Initially focused on golf cars, it expanded to commercial utility vehicles and personal-use transportation. Under direct supervision, performs various tasks related to accurate receipt, staging, storage, transfer, and delivery of materials by part number and quantity used in the manufacture of golf and utility vehicles. Utilizes various types of material handling equipment to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Using material handling equipment, loads and unloads trucks, locates and picks material into/out of warehouse racks, between locations, and delivers to supported shops.
  • Safely operates assigned material handling equipment. Ensures that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition. Reports all accidents and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Determines accurate material quantities by hand counting, use of counting scales, and use of vendor labels on sealed containers.
  • Uses barcode computers to receive material into inventory, move material by quantity between designated locations, and locate/pick material to/from warehouse locations as required. Ensures accurate part number, quantity, and other data field entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, and location; Resolves discrepancies with material quantities and part numbers.
  • Locates parts, ensuring that pallets are stable, observing pallet heights, material, racking, and equipment are not damaged, and material is not left in aisles.
  • Consolidates parts by part number within the warehouse as directed.
  • Complies with domestic and international shipping requirements to include laws, rates, and paperwork requirements for parcel shipments.
  • Utilizes computer equipment for data entry, data retrieval, and analysis of data to solve work-related problems, as well as communicate with other associates.
  • Stages parts from supermarkets into bins and carts per a pull report or other instructions and delivers carts to the point of use.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of forklift and warehouse operations experience is required, preferably cherry picker or boom lift.
