About The Position

Quanex is looking for a skilled Forklift Driver III – 1 st Shift to join our team located in  St. Cloud, Minnesota. You are responsible for operating a forklift to transport materials to and from trucks, work areas, and machines in a safe and efficient manner to meet production requirements. Computer skills needed for things such as allocating orders, shipping orders, printing paperwork, printing product labels and receiving inventory. In this role, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory counts will need to be completed along with putting away inventoried product onto shelving. Salary: $21.00-$26.00 per hour, pay based on experience New Hire Bonus: $1,000, payout increments at 30-days, 60-days and 6-months of employment! Attends work on time and for the scheduled hours each day. Follows operating procedures and notifies supervisor of potential procedural improvements. Conducts required preventative maintenance/inspection on forklifts. Experience with receiving department. Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers. What You Bring: 1-2 years of operating forklifts with 6 months of experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment. Microsoft Office experience, required ERP (computer) experience, preferred Ability to perform repetitive work requiring high levels of concentration. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in fast paced environment. Ability to pass OSHA required testing. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of operating forklifts with 6 months of experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
  • Microsoft Office experience, required
  • Ability to perform repetitive work requiring high levels of concentration
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to pass OSHA required testing
