Summary: Responsible for performing daily warehouse operations to ensure the safe, accurate receipt, storage, and retrieval of inventory for production needs. Acts as a backup CDL driver, operating a yard dog style tractor to transport materials between the local offsite warehouse and production facility, and to manage trailer exchanges within the yard. Duties / Responsibilities: Drives a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count product. Loads/Unloads delivery trucks using a forklift, pallet jack, hand cart, or by hand if necessary. Ensures inbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; reports quality variances to the Receiving Clerk and Warehouse Supervisor. Efficiently moves product to storage areas, and removes for staging to production line(s) in correct locations. Pulls and prepares product for production, matching requests with the exact number and type of material. Operates robot trolleys to store pallets in racking. Serves as back up CDL Driver, transporting materials to/from offsite location and exchanging trailers within the yard.
