About The Position

As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of recent forklift operating experience
• 1+ year of Inventory experience
• Forklift certification is preferred
• Can lift up to 50 pounds
• Can work overtime or weekends
• Can walk or stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Use material handling equipment to load and unload designated trailers, pick orders, and move and store products throughout the warehouse
• Conduct and complete inventory cycle counts
• Picking orders, Cycle counts, and annual inventory
• Conduct pre-operation and post-operation equipment checks
• Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
