About The Position
KeHE is a natural, organic, specialty, and fresh food distributor that prides itself on fostering a people-first culture. The Warehouse Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in the distribution center by ensuring the efficient receiving, storing, and distribution of materials and products. This position is essential for maintaining the flow of goods within the warehouse, contributing to the overall success of the organization. As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for reading production schedules, customer orders, and shipping orders to determine the items that need to be moved or distributed. You will bring overhead products down to the pick bay and stock and restock products in their proper locations, including overhead locations. It is important to rotate stock according to date coding to ensure product freshness. Proficiency with NTS on both handheld and screen mount Telxons is required, as you will need to convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas. In addition to receiving, recording, and putting away products, you will sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms. Utilizing a computer and/or Radio Frequency Unit to record and track products is also part of your responsibilities. You will be expected to maintain good attendance, adhere to safe work practices, and safeguard confidential company information. This position is full-time, with a shift from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and offers benefits after 30 days of employment.
