About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• At least 3 months or more of manufacturing-related experience.
• Some basic computer skills may be required.
• Required to stand for long periods and manually lift/move/manipulate parts up to 50 pounds or use cranes/hoists for heavier materials.

Responsibilities

• Operates lift trucks to distribute, move, ship, and receive specified parts or equipment.
• Obtains and maintains Forklift Driver Certification through the company.
• Engages in picking, marshaling, sorting, packing, stacking, loading, and labeling.
• Keeps accurate records of all transactions.
• Resolves routine material workflow problems with assigned equipment/part orders.
• Directs more complex problems appropriately.
• Makes recommendations to change outdated or ineffective procedures through the kaizen process.
• May utilize hand and power tools as required.
