About The Position

The Forge Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing day-to-day tooling activities, including sourcing orders, picking and assembling tooling, and ensuring changeover readiness. This role requires maintaining accurate tooling inventory and coordinating with the press team to ensure backup tools are always ready. The position emphasizes a clean, safe, and organized work environment while promoting a positive company culture.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Previous Forge Experience Required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tool assemblies according to the press plan.
• Participate in and maintain experimental tool trials.
• Clean and press dies for tool sets in the forge.
• Maintain accurate tooling inventory and tool tracking.
• Coordinate with the press team to keep backup tools ready for the presses at all times.
• Work self-sufficiently and exemplify the company culture.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Tool Crib area.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
